Hannah August is the founder of Jellyfish Strategies, where she supports companies with communications strategy, thought leadership approach, and messaging around purpose and impact.

Hannah previously served on the hill and in the Obama administration, including as Press Secretary to First Lady Michelle Obama, Regional Communications Director for President Barack Obama, and Press Secretary to the Department of Justice.

At National Geographic, she led marketing for kids' products and experiences and as the Director of Communications at Women Deliver she advocated alongside governments, corporations, and foundations for a more gender equal world.

Hannah currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Hey Jane, a telemedicine medication abortion startup.
